Diana Mulili

Diana Mulili is passionate about solving Africa's prosperity challenges with over 15 years leadership experience across both Private and Economic Development Sectors in East Africa. She was the CEO of Msingi East Africa, a not-for-profit organization catalyzing structural transformation of East Africa's economies through sector-specific interventions for systemic constraints faced by domestic and foreign investors. She was responsible for strategic funder and key stakeholder relations development and management, driving Msingi’s fundraising activities and guiding government sector-specific policy decisions in the focus industries (Aquaculture and Textiles & Apparel).

While serving as Business Development and Innovation Director in Msingi, she led the development Uganda’s Cotton, Textiles & Apparel National Strategy and Action Plan for 2020-2025. This involved convening and coordinating key stakeholders from the Public, Private and Development sectors to co-create an industry vision that is implementable. She led the positioning of Uganda as an investment destination for a $300 million Textile Manufacturer.

Diana is formerly the East Africa Head of Business Development and Strategy in Dimension Data (formerly Internet Solutions) where she was responsible for driving operational efficiencies and business growth in the region.

She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the African Leadership University School of Business, Rwanda; a Certificate of Making Markets Work from The Springfield Center, Thailand; and a Practitioner’s Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching, U.K.
